Calling All Our Power Back To Us

Welcome to the photo gallery for the Standing in the Gap Fund Launch, held during Art Basel in Miami. This exhibit, titled “Calling All Our Power Back To Us,” served as a powerful tribute to the resilience, unity, and determination of our community in combating racial terror and race-based violence. Each image captures the essence of the launch, highlighting the art installations, heartfelt moments, and collective energy of those committed to healing and justice.

Curated by Marie Vickles, the exhibit featured the transformative works of talented artists including Loni Jonhson,  Vanta Black, and Faren Humes who pay homage to Black women and families impacted by racial violence. This event would not have been possible without the support of our incredible partners, including Wakumi Douglas and The Givers Revival, Choublak Little Haiti Visitor Center & Garden, Say Sukii Flowers, AYA Spa & Wellness Collective,  and all of our panelists from the Greater Miami community. Together, we created a space to honor the strength of those standing in solidarity and celebrate the importance of investing in each other to build a resilient network capable of responding to crises and fostering long-term healing.

Through this visual journey, we emphasize that supporting this Fund is more than an act of charity—it is a transformative statement of unity and resistance against forces that seek to divide us.
